Lead Frontend Developer (1-Year Contract, Hybrid – Dublin)

Location: Dublin (2 days onsite/week)
Contract: 12 months

An established Dublin based client is seeking a Front-End Technical Lead to support the development of high-traffic, customer-facing web applications. The role involves leading a front-end team, setting technical direction, and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of front-end engineers
• Design and implement robust, scalable web applications
• Conduct code reviews and maintain development standards
• Promote the use of modern tools, frameworks, and best practices
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role
• Advanced proficiency in Vue.js (v2/v3) & Tailwind CSS
• Strong experience integrating front-end systems with REST/SOAP APIs; familiarity with PHP/Symfony backends
• Solid knowledge of MySQL and data-driven application design
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools (e.g. Cypress)
• In-depth understanding of front-end architecture, scalability, and performance
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly across technical and non-technical teams
